About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Advanced Immunotherapy and Cellular Therapy Team as a Research Portfolio Manager – Head Clinical Trials Coordinator at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, an international leader in cancer research and development. The team supports a number of both Advanced Immunotherapy and Cellular Therapy commercial and investigator-led clinical trials.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of clinical trial coordinators
  • Ensure efficient trial set up and high standards of day-to-day trial administration
  • Line manage clinical trials coordinators and recruit, induct, and train new team members
  • Support management and maintenance of clinical trial coordination, data management, and administrative functions
  • Facilitate research feasibility assessments
  • Ensure efficient and timely initiation and delivery of clinical research
  • Implement, standardize, and optimize quality, financial, and data systems
  • Support divisional activity and performance reporting

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced individual with significant knowledge of the clinical trials process and line management experience.

Eligibility

The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical trial management and a background in research coordination.
