Middle Market Banking – Portfolio Manager I

About the Opportunity

Join our Company and be part of a culture that values relationships, fairness, and simplicity. As a Portfolio Manager I, you will play a key role in supporting Middle Market Banking business development and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects and referrals on a national and regional basis
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with Bank team partners
  • Support management with profitable client relationships
  • Assist in reviewing and structuring large complex transactions
  • Underwrite pre-screen memos and loan presentations
  • Deepen relationships with existing clients and establish new ones
  • Participate in community and business functions

About You

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience in specialty or commercial banking
  • Related specialty banking or finance experience

Eligibility

Desired qualifications include:

  • MBA or certification in the field
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in specialty or commercial banking
  • Industry-specific credit background
  • Moody’s Risk Analyst experience
  • Completed formal credit training program
  • Strong communication, writing, and sales skills
