About the Opportunity
This role is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of multiple, concurrent projects within a strategically aligned portfolio. The Portfolio Project Manager provides structured delivery leadership while supervising project managers and ensuring delivery excellence across the programme landscape. Acting as a central coordination point, the role combines tactical oversight and strategic alignment with exemplary stakeholder engagement to safeguard project outcomes and portfolio integrity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring strategic alignment and timely delivery
- Oversee and guide project managers, ensuring consistency in governance, planning, execution, and reporting
- Manage interdependencies and resource allocation across delivery streams within the portfolio
- Maintain central oversight of performance metrics, milestones, risks, and delivery status across projects
- Ensure integration of new initiatives into the existing portfolio framework with minimal disruption

Eligibility
What We Need From You:
- MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PgMP, or equivalent certifications
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong team leadership and line management experience, ideally within regulated environments
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and executive reporting
- Proficiency in project portfolio tools (e.g. Planview, MS Project, Jira, Power BI)
- Background in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services preferred
