In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, with a primary focus on material handling systems, automation, and robotics within distribution and fulfilment environments. Your responsibilities will span the full project lifecycle—from initial planning and design through to installation, commissioning, and final launch—while working closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise and coordinate MHE (Material Handling Equipment) vendor for installationPrepare weekly and daily reports as required by the client’s Project ManagerProvide overall site management, coordination, and planning with the site and project stakeholdersConduct site inspections at key milestones (e.g., start of construction, 60% and 100% installation, turnover, and close-out)Coach and guide all project teams (sub-contractors, maintenance engineers, commissioning engineers) throughout the execution lifecycleCoordinate with facility teams on scheduling, budgets, and phased turnover of buildings to ensure smooth installation of equipment without conflict or delayEnsure contracted resources deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing underperformanceSupervise construction works to ensure safe operations, in compliance with the client’s safety policies and in collaboration with on-site safety personnelImmediately report any safety concerns to the Programme Manager and Site Safety Manager
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of project management experience3+ years of experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metricsBackground in MHE/logistics environmentsStrong ability to use data and metrics to drive improvementsCross-functional experience with both technical and non-technical teamsExperience working in large-scale, fast-paced operational settingsBachelor's degreeAdvanced knowledge of Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLookUps)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of experience in full project delivery and reporting results to senior leadershipProven record in driving process improvementsStakeholder management experience across various organisational levelsSkilled in building processes, managing projects and schedulesProject management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM)
