The company specializes in petroleum infrastructure, general construction, mechanical & electrical services, and 24/7 emergency response. Kwong Ngee is a BCA-registered contractor with licenses in various engineering fields, catering to major oil companies, government agencies, and commercial enterprises.
Role DescriptionPrepare, maintain, and manage tender documents, including BOQ, tender clarifications, and unit prices.Manage and monitor all financial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring they remain within budget.Oversee project administration and documentation, including interim evaluations, pricing and agreements for contract variations, claim submissions, and final accounts preparation.Source, liaise, compile, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors based on requirements, specifications, and schedules.Review and negotiate with contractors for cost-saving strategies, from rough estimates to final price approvals.Prepare detailed schedules for the site team to ensure timely completion of scheduled work.Maintain positive relationships with external parties, including clients, architects/consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities/personnel.Perform other related duties as assigned.
RequirementDiploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the building and construction industries.Experience in tender preparation, evaluation, and submission.Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.Good knowledge of local standards and requirements.Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.Preference will be given to candidates who can start immediately or with short notice.
