IPM Signs MoU with GPMF to Broaden Global Access to PM Resources

The Institute of Project Management (IPM) is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with the Global Project Management Forum (GPMF), solidified through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement marks the continuation of a collaboration that began earlier this year, and reflects a shared vision to empower project professionals with greater access to knowledge, networks, and internationally recognised resources.

From Shared Values to Strategic Vision

IPM’s initial involvement with GPMF began in May 2025, when it proudly supported the Forum’s flagship event in Riyadh as an official Knowledge Partner. What started as a one-time collaboration quickly revealed a deeper alignment—both organisations are rooted in the belief that the future of project management lies in connection, education, and the free flow of ideas across borders.

GPMF, known for convening thought leaders and practitioners from around the world, provides a platform for innovation and dialogue in project management. IPM, meanwhile, brings over 30 years of experience in advancing the professional practice of project management through education, certification, and community support.

Together, the two organisations are laying the groundwork for a more inclusive, globally connected project management ecosystem.

What This Partnership Means for Members

At the heart of this partnership is a focus on enabling reciprocal member benefits—ensuring that members from both IPM and GPMF can access a wider range of resources, experiences, and opportunities.

While the specific mechanisms are still being finalised, both parties are currently exploring the following initiatives:

  • For IPM Members: Access to selected GPMF events and initiatives, many of which will be made available through the IPM Hub, creating direct entry points to encourage seamless participation and global engagement.
  • For GPMF Members: Exclusive access codes to unlock discounted pricing on IPM’s suite of internationally recognised courses and certifications—soon to be listed on the GPMF platform.

By making these cross-platform benefits available, the partnership aims to remove barriers and enable professionals—wherever they are in the world—to engage more deeply with the tools and learning they need to thrive.

This partnership is more than an exchange of access; it’s a shared investment in the future of the project management profession. It reflects a shift in mindset—from isolated excellence to collective progress.

By creating tangible pathways between communities, IPM and GPMF hope to inspire not only individual growth but also stronger, more resilient project ecosystems across regions and industries.

What’s Next

In the months ahead, both organisations will continue to refine the specifics of the collaboration. Further announcements—including timelines, redemption details, and upcoming events—will be communicated via the IPM Hub and the GPMF platform.

What remains clear is the spirit of the collaboration: a shared investment in elevating the global practice of project management, and a belief that partnerships like this one can unlock real, long-term impact for the profession.
