IPM and IBS Launch Strategic Partnership to Elevate Project Management in Jordan’s Financial Sector

Introduction

The Institute of Project Management (IPM) and the Institute of Banking Studies (IBS) are pleased to announce a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing project management capabilities across Jordan’s financial and banking sectors. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to delivering competency-based education tailored to real-world organisational challenges.

Advancing Capability Through Strategic Focus

The initial focus of this partnership will be on Agility Competency Programmes, providing targeted upskilling opportunities aligned with the evolving needs of financial institutions. These internationally recognised programmes are designed to help professionals manage change, drive innovation, and lead transformation within complex operational environments.

IBS as Local Training Provider and Delivery Partner

IBS plays a central role in training and capacity building for the financial sector in Jordan. It has long been a trusted provider of specialised training, professional certification programmes, and skills development programmes and other programmes for banking sector professionals.

As part of this partnership, IBS will serve as a local training provider and strategic partner for IPM, supporting this collaboration through its infrastructure and expertise. This partnership highlights the strong relationship between these two organisations in the region.

Creating Pathways for Professional Development

While this partnership is being rolled out in stages, it will gradually create new opportunities for targeted professional development. Initial areas of collaboration include:

  • Delivery of IPM’s Agility Competency programmes through IBS-led in-person and hybrid sessions
  • Access to selected events and initiatives, made available through designated platforms to encourage participation and cross-sector engagement

By combining IBS’s local reach with IPM’s internationally aligned training frameworks, this partnership aims to build a solid foundation for long-term professional growth across Jordan’s financial sector.

What Comes Next

This partnership represents a strategic investment in Jordan’s financial talent for the future. Together, IPM and IBS will empower professionals and institutions, advancing project management capability across the region.

By leveraging IPM’s global expertise and IBS’s in-depth understanding of the local market, this collaboration will foster innovation and excellence in project management, equipping professionals with the skills and tools necessary to drive impactful change and contribute to the region's growth and success.
