Summary Of Position

The client is seeking an experienced Project Director to manage projects, drive local business development efforts, and expand their presence in Calgary. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, and team leadership.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for launching and growing the Calgary office
• Lead architectural project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to drive project progress
• Oversee the preparation and review of architectural documents
• Mentor junior staff and represent the firm at client meetings and events
• Establish a brand presence in Calgary through business development initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
• Professional Alberta Architectural license required (AAA)
• 10+ years of architectural project management experience
• Strong local market network in Calgary and business development experience
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and project management tools
• Comprehensive knowledge of Alberta building codes and industry standards
