What You'll Be Doing
As Project Coordinator / Estimator, you'll play a vital role in delivering multi-utility projects (gas, water, electric) from planning through to execution. Working closely with internal teams, utility providers, developers and design partners, you'll help ensure all parties are aligned and deliverables stay on track.
Key Responsibilities Include
Liaising with developers, local authorities, utility companies (e.g., Severn Trent, Thames Water, National Grid) and in-house engineers. Managing project documentation, timelines, and deliverables across multiple schemes. Supporting estimates, bids and coordination meetings to plan new work. Monitoring and updating internal systems and ensuring timely submission of key documentation. Reporting to our Senior Project Coordinator and assisting with day-to-day operations of the project portfolio.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Previous experience in a utilities-related project coordination or delivery role – ideally with a competitor or contractor Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with suppliers, clients, and authorities Experience coordinating across water, gas or electric utilities High attention to detail, great time management, and a calm approach to handling busy workloads. Solid IT skills – Excel, Outlook and experience using project tracking tools Full UK Driving Licence Knowledge of estimating or costing would be a bonus
Working Hours & Location
Full time, permanent Monday to Friday, standard office hours Hybrid Working arrangements
