About the Opportunity

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Design Manager and design team to coordinate and facilitate the successful delivery of projects. This role requires strong organisational skills, communication abilities, and an understanding of architectural and design management processes. The Project Coordinator is responsible for maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and supporting the team to ensure objectives are met efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Design Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-ups are actioned.
  • Maintain and manage project documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Act as the central point of communication for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of reports, including progress updates and executive summaries.
  • Facilitate the design and quality assurance process by monitoring schedules, deliverables, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Track project budgets, resources, and timelines, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards, processes, and regulatory requirements.

About You

Qualifications & Requirements: Educational Background: Background in Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. A degree in Architecture, Design Management, or Project Management and/or previous experience working with a Lead Consultancy would be ideal.

Professional Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within an architectural, design, or consultancy environment.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Key Competencies: Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines. Understanding of architectural processes, design documentation, and construction phases is essential.
