Portfolio Manager Assistant (CLO) – Global Hedge Fund – $250-350k TC

About the Opportunity

A major, multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund is looking to make a newly created, specialist hire to support its expanding US CLO business. The hire will work directly for the US CLO Portfolio Manager on the investment desk.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for trade capture, loan closing, treasury/liquidity management, risk oversight, portfolio/performance analysis, CLO compliance, etc.
• Act as the go-to-person for external suppliers/counterparties and internal senior management regarding operational issues.
• Take on project work during downtime, focusing on process improvement or wide-ranging projects for the investment team.

About You

Candidates should have 5-15 years of experience in CLO operations/middle office. Open to candidates from banks, trustees, administrators, or other funds. Must have excellent communication skills and thrive in a pressurized front office environment.

Eligibility

This is a crucial hire for the firm and is budgeted to pay up to a $350k year-one TC. Compensation is not a dismissal factor at the application stage.
