Crown Technologies is a specialist electrical engineering company based in Cardiff. Established in 2012, they provide integrated electrical and gas management solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the mining sector. Their capabilities span design and manufacture of electrical switchgear, control systems, and junction boxes, as well as the development and maintenance of gas drainage systems. They also offer onsite electrical maintenance, instrument calibration, installations, and full project management services.
With a strong reputation across NSW and QLD, Crown is growing — and looking for a hands-on Electrical Project Engineer to join their close-knit team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, technical projects from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordinating jobs across engineering, production, and installation
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers to clarify scope and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Supporting quality assurance processes, including technical documentation and drawing control
  • Developing technical documentation / production packs for workshop manufacture
  • Overseeing commissioning and site installation activities
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and contribute to business growth

About You

Qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an electrical project or design environment
Confident working across both technical and coordination aspects of a project
Familiar with interpreting electrical drawings, preparing technical documents, and liaising with clients/suppliers
Exposure to site environments and a good understanding of installation/commissioning is a plus
Comfortable using M365, and ideally some experience with MRP/ERP systems or project tools like Smartsheet
Organised, detail-oriented, and willing to roll your sleeves up when needed
