About the Opportunity
BOWRA Foundation is a dynamic and fast-growing charity committed to supporting people living with the lasting effects of brain injury. Our vision is to inspire the unrelenting pursuit of recovery from brain injury through practical help, physical challenges, and sport. We are now looking for a BOWRA Bag Project Manager to lead and grow one of our flagship initiatives: the BOWRA Bag. This life-changing resource supports the physical and psychological wellbeing, rehabilitation, and recovery of our beneficiaries, and your role will be to manage and develop the project so it reaches even more people across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a cost-effective project plan for the BOWRA Bag, including contents, delivery, fundraising needs, and future requirements.
- Build strong relationships with rehabilitation centers and therapy teams to establish demand and deliver bags to recipients.
- Collect and analyze feedback to continually refine the effectiveness of the bag.
- Oversee delivery processes including supply chain, distribution, inquiries, and impact reporting.
- Manage the project budget and support fundraising opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorship.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for all aspects of the BOWRA Bag project.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in project management and operations, ideally with NHS or health sector experience.
- Knowledgeable about brain injury, rehabilitation, and/or the disability agenda.
- Skilled in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and confident in managing budgets and processes.
- Empathetic, professional, and motivated by making a real difference.
- IT-proficient, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and database/CRM systems.
- Experience or knowledge of ethical selling, particularly when working with vulnerable individuals. Experience in the charity/third sector or with the Armed Forces community would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Job Details
Job Type: Full-time, 2 year contract with the potential to become permanent.
Location: Home-based, with regular travel in Dorset and potential for wider UK travel as the project grows.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required for events and activities.
