The Role

Are you an enthusiastic project professional with a passion for housing equity looking to take the next step in your career? Join us in shaping communities and transforming lives through innovative housing solutions.

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of our Ground Lease Model (GLM) housing programs. You’ll work closely with our General Manager - Build to Rent (BTR) and cross-functional teams to ensure our housing developments are delivered on time and ready to serve the diverse needs of our future residents.

  • Keep projects on track by coordinating inputs across housing, property, legal, and asset teams to meet our obligations under GLM agreements.
  • Be the glue between internal teams and external partners by supporting stakeholder engagement, managing communications, and representing the organisation in key project forums.
  • Drive operational readiness by tracking handover milestones, identifying risks, and ensuring preparedness to mobilise services as new developments come online.
  • Support governance and reporting by preparing high-quality documentation and contributing to continuous improvement in project management.
  • Champion our mission by aligning your work with our strategic goals and values to help build a world without housing poverty.

About You

To be successful for this role, you will have a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable people in our community along with the following:

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in project coordination, ideally within housing, infrastructure, or social impact sectors.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with precision.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills—you’re confident liaising with government, consortium partners, and internal teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for spotting risks and solving problems before they escalate.
  • A commitment to equity, professionalism, and working in a values-led environment.

Please note: A satisfactory police check is required for all staff.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a mission-driven organisation tackling housing poverty through innovation and collaboration.
  • Work on high-impact projects that blend commercial delivery with social outcomes.
  • Enjoy a supportive team culture that values accountability, growth, and shared success.
  • Flexible work arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

As an equal opportunity employer, CHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. We strongly encourage candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
