Project Director Commercial (UAE National)

About the Role

The Project Director will lead the successful execution of projects and developments through a team of Project Managers. This position is crucial for ensuring efficient planning, execution, and delivery of projects that enhance airport facilities, improve operational efficiencies, and elevate the overall passenger experience. The Project Director ensures that projects are delivered successfully while meeting safety, time, cost, and quality expectations. Additionally, the Project Director will consistently follow CP&C project management processes and actively contribute to departmental continuous improvement.

• Understanding and experience in delivering projects across their full lifecycle.
• Familiarity with challenges inherent in operating within a regulated airport environment.
• Proficient in Health and safety management spanning construction and airport operations.
• Solid knowledge and proficiency in project management and execution.
• Competence in projects, data analysis, risk management, quality control and quality assurance.
• Foundational understanding of construction and project management principles.
• Excellent collaboration skills, adept at facilitating effective communication within and beyond the department.

Required Education, Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent in a relevant Field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or international equivalent (desirable).
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience within large scale aviation or complex project delivery.
Project delivery in live aircraft and passenger operating environments.
