Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to manage and oversee multi-entity financial portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment-related accounting, with a track record of delivering strategic insights to support business growth and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including asset management, investment allocations, and fund reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a finance team to deliver high-quality financial outputs.
  • Drive process improvements and system optimizations for financial reporting and portfolio management.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • B.Compt, B.Com (Accounting/Finance) or equivalent; CA(SA) designation preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 8–12 years’ experience in financial management, auditing, or investment/portfolio reporting.
  • Proven experience in multi-entity financial reporting, consolidation, and management accounts.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Caseware, or similar).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
