Job Description

About the Opportunity

Ensure the successful delivery of each project within timescale and budget ensuring that all agreed customer requirements are met. Assist the Project Managers in providing regular and timely project status reporting, cash flow, and schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient use of project resources such as labor, material, or sub-contracted services thereby maximizing “earned value”.
  • Ensure that quality and safety are engineered into projects at the planning stage and are managed correctly throughout the project life cycle.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
  • Provide effective management of all the project’s stakeholders during the life cycle to ensure that all project documentation is controlled, managed, and communicated to the relevant stakeholders and stored in the established project file system.
  • Ensure that the project acceptance criteria are defined and implemented as agreed with the project’s stakeholders.
  • Prepare and execute effective project communications plans to ensure that all stakeholders involved in the Project have a clear understanding of communication & escalation routes, what type of information will be exchanged and the method, format, and frequency of communication.
  • Ensure that installed solutions are compliant with the agreed statement of requirements.
  • Responsible for supporting the team in ensuring all invoices are raised in a timely manner.
  • Attend client meetings and support with accurately capturing project requirements and subsequent reporting of the meeting.
  • Maintain understanding of PMO, Solutions, and company policies and strategies at all times.
  • Adhere to company processes and procedures in relation to all aspects of the job function and where possible, actively and positively contribute towards the strategic direction of both the business unit and the company.
  • Ensure that applicable Management Information Systems reflect current and accurate information with regard to project status.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and systems to allow the approval of the expenditure and the accurate reporting of costs, revenue, and margin.

Eligibility

Selection Criteria: Diploma / Degree in any discipline from a reputable university, preferably in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination and project management from systems integration industry providing low voltage security systems. Considerable knowledge of low current systems including Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intercom, Gate barriers, Intruder Alarm, Network configuration, etc. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc. Understanding of the principles of Project Management. Ability to communicate effectively. Flexible attitude to change.
