This is your opportunity to join a respected government organisation that plays a vital role in shaping Queensland's transport infrastructure. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic Civil Project Coordinator (Project Systems Representative) in Cairns to support them on a temporary assignment with the potential for permanent transition.

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting project delivery for compliance and quality
  • Managing safety, environmental, and traffic management documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Supporting daily operations and team coordination
  • Maintaining digital records and contributing to continuous improvement
  • MR Truck Driving
  • Civil Labouring tasks

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

  • Certificate III in Civil Construction (or willingness to obtain within 18 months) or relevant civil engineering qualifications
  • A current Queensland "C" class driver's licence (MR Driver's Licence ideal)
  • Able to travel and potentially work on a roster
  • Strong understanding of civil construction standards and documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly across operational units
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards

You'll also need to pass a pre-employment medical and random D&A testing.
