About the Opportunity

Alef Group is a pioneer in developing premier lifestyle communities, destinations, and experiences through investment and strategic joint ventures. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Project Director to join our growing team in Sharjah and lead multiple construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of project development from pre-concept planning to handover.
• Develop and implement project management procedures, governance protocols, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Direct and manage multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, contractors, and in-house technical teams across multiple projects.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions through robust reporting and performance tracking tools.
• Lead stakeholder management to facilitate permits, approvals, and smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance systems.
• Conduct executive-level reporting and project status presentations.
• Contribute to the strategic planning of future developments.
• Foster a high-performance project culture emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About You

Educational Qualifications & Certifications: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture. A Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, or MBA is preferred.

Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in construction and real estate development, with at least 10 years in project management.

Skills required: In-depth knowledge of project planning, budgeting, procurement, and construction methodologies. Proficient in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and relevant ERP systems. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with cross-functional coordination. Strong understanding of local authority regulations and permitting processes in Sharjah/UAE.

Eligibility

The Project Director will lead the end-to-end delivery of real estate development projects, including residential buildings, villas, townhouses, and infrastructure works.
