Senior Portfolio Manager

About the Opportunity

The Senior Portfolio Manager (Sr. PM) plays a key role in supporting Relationship Manager (RM) sales efforts by managing loan portfolios effectively to ensure positive performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced credit knowledge to support the RM team
• Utilize negotiation skills to bridge Sales and Credit
• Review and process documents for pre- and post-closing
• Prepare, review, and monitor reports for compliance
• Analyze complex credit requests and financial statements
• Partner with market leadership to promote portfolio growth
• Monitor past due information and future maturities
• Conduct financial metrics analysis for commercial loan risk rating
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes
• Lead and develop the PM team
• Attend internal and client meetings independently
• Deliver exceptional service to customers
• Adhere to bank procedures, laws, and regulations
• Provide independent credit analysis and challenge in loan approval

About You

To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, experience in banking portfolio management, and strong communication and organizational skills.
