Summary

Role Purpose: The Retail Portfolio Manager provides strategic input into the Asset Management strategy and ensures effective implementation and execution thereof. The incumbent proactively manages risk to drive operational efficiencies, ensure business compliance, and support ongoing process innovation to maximise net income.

The role anticipates the impact of business strategy on other divisions and ensures consistency in delivering required business outputs for the retail function. The incumbent provides guidance on feedback mechanisms, highlights operational inefficiencies, and drives continuous improvement. A strong focus is placed on analyzing data and converting it into meaningful reports to support decision-making and income optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex, concurrent workflows within the portfolio and deliver best practice solutions to optimize net income, operational efficiencies, and risk reduction.
• Review and audit operational processes and recommend improvements.
• Analyze data trends and implement mitigating actions to reduce risk.
• Review annual building budgets and mid-year valuation budgets in alignment with company strategy for sign-off by the Retail Asset Manager.
• Drive and enable net income delivery through KPI management of property managers and administrators.
