Project Manager

About the Opportunity

ROXEL (UK ROCKET MOTORS) LIMITED is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the direction, coordination, and execution of specific projects related to solid propellant rocket motors.

Responsibilities

• Generate, maintain, and deliver project plans for new business bids
• Define, generate, and execute project plans for contracted work
• Improve project value and margin through proactive risk management
• Provide project reporting internally and to customers
• Manage, monitor, and motivate cross-functional team members
• Work closely with customers to understand project requirements
• Approve and/or authorize documents as required

About You

Qualifications: Degree or industry related qualification
Desirable Qualifications: Recognized Project Management qualification/accreditation

Experience:
- Previous experience in planning, managing, and delivering production, development, or technology projects
- Commercial and financial understanding
- Knowledge of Project Management software tools
- Good customer skills
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team
- Effective risk management

Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of the defence industry
- Experience in managing projects within an engineering focused environment
