Job Description

About the Opportunity

Location: G&G HQ – Chipping Sodbury

Reports To: CEO

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Role Overview

We are a fast-growing business and are looking for a highly capable, commercially minded Project Manager with strong analytical skills to lead the delivery of logistics and technology projects across Goose & Gander. This is a pivotal role, working closely with the CEO, founders, and senior stakeholders to support the next phase of business growth. The role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of initiatives such as new partner onboarding, new lines of business, technology stack implementations, and system or process migrations, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and aligned to commercial and operational goals. You will operate at the intersection of operations, technology, and the wider business, translating strategic objectives into clear, structured delivery plans. With a strong analytical mindset and a background that may include Business Analysis, you will bring clarity to complex problems, shape delivery approaches, and ensure all stakeholders have visibility of progress, risks, and outcomes. As the business scales, you will play a key role in helping build and refine project delivery frameworks, improving cross-functional ways of working, and ensuring Goose & Gander has the delivery capability, discipline, and technical understanding required to grow sustainably. The role combines hands-on project leadership with strategic influence, offering the opportunity to directly impact how the business launches, integrates, and scales new operational and technology capabilities.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the organisation’s technology stack, integrations, and data flows
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support solution design discussions and ensure proposed approaches align with business needs

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Technology, Product, Finance, and Commercial
  • Provide clear communication and reporting on project status, risks, and milestones
  • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and governance forums as required

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and delivery plans
  • Ensure projects adhere to agreed governance, quality standards, and delivery frameworks
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within logistics, supply chain, technology, or operational environments
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in requirements gathering and structured problem-solving
  • Background or experience as a Business Analyst or in a BA-adjacent role
  • Experience delivering technology-enabled projects and/or system migrations

  • Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams

Desirable

  • Experience working with logistics platforms, WMS, TMS, ERP, or similar systems
  • Understanding of system integrations and data flows
  • Experience delivering new customer implementations or business expansions
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
