Responsibilities

• Lead senior level relationships with the client, stakeholders, and counterparts.
• Shape and direct project level strategy, translating clients’ needs and guidance into clear delivery plans.
• Drive multidisciplinary team performance across design, commercial, technical, and construction functions.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring smooth transition from preconstruction through construction and commissioning.
• Continuously review strategy, design maturity, cost and risk, implementing early corrective actions.

About You

Have a related Chartership such as CIOB, RICS, RIBA, ICE. Professional Construction Qualifications relevant to the role (BSc or MSc in Project Management or Building / Construction Studies or Engineering).

Eligibility

High emotional intelligent and able to demonstrate key leadership skills. Taking projects from PCSA to through to main contract delivery. Building and leading high performing multi-disciplinary teams, creating a positive and collaborative working environment. Working with multi-stakeholders, managing relationships to develop and deliver appropriate project strategy and plans.

About Company

At Bovis, we are currently recruiting for a Project Director to join our private sector construction division based in London. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver a large-scale private sector project, ensuring high performance, clear decision-making, and strong client focus. Central to your success will be the ability to interpret client and program requirements and translate them into compliant, buildable, and commercially robust solutions. This includes guiding design, technical, commercial, and clinical assurance through pre-construction and ensuring predictable, safe and high-quality delivery during construction.
