Project Director – Electrical

Location: Melbourne

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of Wind and BESS projects, from early development through to commissioning and handover.
• Oversee project planning, cost control, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Act as the primary technical and delivery lead, ensuring effective integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, OEMs, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide strategic project leadership.
• Manage and mentor project teams, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and industry standards.

About You

Degree: Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) with significant experience in the renewable energy sector.

Experience: Demonstrated track record delivering utility-scale Wind and/or BESS projects within Australia.

Skills: Strong integration expertise, particularly in coordinating with developers and OEMs. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, commercial awareness, and leadership skills. Ability to manage complex project structures and multi-disciplinary teams.
