Pay Range: $150,000 - $210,000 / year

Location: Remote with 50% travel required

Position Summary

The Project Director will work on large CMGC or CMAR projects (over $100M) - Manages and coordinates all aspects of construction projects, including preconstruction phase – task order and team management, design reviews, estimation of design iterations, risk identification, constructability reviews, value engineering, early works packaging and negotiation of GMPs as well as construction phase - executing plans, organizing, budgeting, and cost reporting. Ensures that the goals and objectives of each project are accomplished on schedule and within budget, and that quality and safety standards are met. Supervises department staff in successfully accomplishing goals and objectives.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities And Duties

  • Full Profit and Loss responsibility for the assigned project.
  • Oversee the activities of all direct report entities.
  • Ensure effective management and coordination of various departments.
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and modification of cost-to-complete estimates.
  • Coordinate with project team to establish work plans for each phase of the project.
  • Supervise project activities to ensure execution according to designs, budgets, and schedules.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project accounting, project controls, safety, and quality.
  • Strong management, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Works indoors and outdoors at construction sites. Frequently stands, walks, climbs, balances, stoops, and crouches while negotiating work areas under construction. Sits, reads, writes, and uses a keyboard. May be exposed to harsh weather conditions including very hot and very cold weather. May be exposed to loud noise.
