Position Summary

The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing foodservice equipment projects. This role handles administrative tasks, tracks project timelines, and ensures effective communication between internal teams, suppliers, and clients. The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping projects organized and on schedule.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating project activities, schedules, and resources.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
  • Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Track project progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings, recording minutes and follow-up tasks.
  • Handle administrative duties, such as processing purchase orders and tracking shipments.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in project coordination or administrative support, preferably in foodservice distribution. Familiarity with foodservice equipment and supply projects is a plus. Experience with ERP systems and project management tools is preferred.
