What you'll be doing

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of multiple IT projects across multiple programmes which span the organisation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage your portfolio budget, optimizing working with commercial teams to manage spend and team leads to manage resource allocation.
• Implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout lifecycles and across projects.
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company standards across all IT.
• Oversee the performance of project managers, ensuring high standards of delivery and compliance.
• Facilitate effective stakeholder management at various levels of our business to enhance communication and project buy-in at all levels.
• Make decisions on project priorities and resource allocations, providing leadership and direction.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement by introducing innovations and efficiencies in project management practices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and suppliers to support project objectives.
• Champion the adoption of project management best practices and tools within the organization.

Who we're looking for

Strong leadership capabilities are essential for managing and directing teams – you know how to lead a team from the front and might even project manage one of our highest profile projects. Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development life cycles, and current industry trends and deep experience across complex delivery. Excellent skills in communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking. Adaptability to manage diverse teams and projects in a dynamic environment at a fast pace with a strong sense of accountability.
