In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research with a strong focus on Taiwan’s domestic market and contributing to portfolio management activities. Research will be the core of this role, complemented by active participation in client account management and investment decision-making within the team structure.

This position (Assistant Vice President or Vice President level) requires substantial industry experience, analytical rigor, and strong teamwork, with frequent engagement across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on Taiwan’s domestic market, focusing on traditional and non-technology sectors.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation frameworks, and proprietary databases to support investment decisions.
• Develop sector outlooks, thematic reports, and actionable investment ideas.
• Monitor existing holdings and identify new investment opportunities with timely updates and valuations.
• Support portfolio management by managing client accounts as assigned within the team, and by contributing to asset allocation, position sizing, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.

About You

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; minimum 5 years of relevant research experience in Taiwan’s domestic industries, especially traditional sectors. Qualified Portfolio Manager license accredited by the Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Association (SITCA). Strong ability to conduct independent research and generate actionable insights. Solid understanding of industrial and market trends, with the ability to connect company analysis to portfolio strategy. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and verbal.
