About the Opportunity
We are seeking an organized and motivated Junior Project Coordinator to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will support project managers and teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects. You will be involved in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and logistics to ensure deadlines are met.
- Help create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Support the project manager in monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or delays.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring that all key aspects are on track.
- Communicate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist in preparing project proposals, presentations, and reports for senior management and clients.
- Help coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.
- Ensure that all project-related information is organized, accessible, and up to date.
- Assist with post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and streamline project processes.
About You
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) is a plus.
- Experience with project management software like Jira, Basecamp, or Monday.com.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Previous experience working in a specific industry (e.g., IT, construction, marketing) is a plus.
