About the Opportunity

The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire qualified candidates with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, creative thinking, problem-solving environment. This position serves as the EPMO Enterprise Portfolio Manager- Unit A for the Enterprise Project Management Office. In this position, you will be appraising, planning, and redesigning enterprise business control, resource management, service delivery/support, and service reporting to identify opportunities for improvement through the application of business process engineering principles and practices. In addition, you will serve as an EPMO Product Owner and full-line supervisor managing, planning, coordinating, reviewing, directing, and aligning both short-term and long-term portfolio management strategies and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Unit A Enterprise Portfolio Manager for the EPMO.
  • Direct, coordinate, and review the activities of IT Project teams.
  • Research, appraise, and make recommendations for process-related practices.
  • Conduct process-centric orientation sessions with DoIT teams and agency customers.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in business process engineering.

Eligibility

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of four (4) years of college with coursework in management information systems, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in an IT organization.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience supervising an IT team.
