The purpose of this position is to provide management and supervision to staff assigned to work on large capital projects from development through environmental, engineering, right of way, construction, and start of revenue service. The role involves managing the cost, scope, and schedule of projects. This includes providing guidance and direction, monitoring costs and schedules, and preparing and presenting public information for various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have a Professional Engineering (PE) license in the State of CA with FTA capital infrastructure grant (CIG) Capital Investment Grants Program, as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Planning is required. Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of experience in project management, construction management, or related fields, including three years of supervisory experience.
