Data Center Portfolio Manager, Strategic Initiatives

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Responsibilities

• Develop high-level operational plans in partnership with stakeholder teams
• Standardize process, tooling, data, and reporting requirements
• Design and implement enhanced cost and labor estimating mechanisms
• Create and manage goals in safety, quality, productivity, and cost control
• Produce accurate and timely reporting on portfolio status
• Plan and host value stream mapping events
• Gather feedback from internal customers and stakeholders
• Apply change, risk, and resource management
• Develop new programs to support team goals

Eligibility

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in construction or project management
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience
• Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations
• Knowledge of critical data center equipment
