Responsibilities

  • Integrated Category Strategy & Vision: Develop, manage, and externally articulate the long-term Category Vision. Lead the identification and execution of "big bets", key category events, and key growth projects and initiatives.
  • Strategic Partnership & Execution Support: Partner with Marketing, eComm and Insights teams to translate consumer data and brand plans into effective commercial and customer strategies.
  • Project Management and Commercial Actions: Maintain a list of category projects-in-play and work with internal partners and stakeholders to prioritise and track progress vs. agreed timelines based on size of prize/strategic significance analysis.
  • Operational Excellence & Performance Management: Report back on comprehensive category performance broken down by subcategory, Retail Environment (RE), online vs off-line and customer, as part of the monthly discipline process.

Eligibility

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree mandatory, Marketing/Commerce preferred
  • Relevant experience in Marketing, Sales or other Business functions
  • FMCG experience or minimum 5 years in a commercial role preferred (supplier or retailer)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial roles - Customer Development or Marketing
  • Experience working in consumer product goods preferred
  • Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs) preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong collaborator
