About the Opportunity

The Marketing Product Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain a competitive position.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing Product Managers in monitoring strategic marketing programs, strategic program roadmaps, program development, program/product launches, and program marketing to gain maximum benefit from each program/product and deliver on client value propositions
  • Deploy profitable marketing strategies, implement key growth initiatives, and maintain current market intelligence on overall industry verticals and competitors
  • Develop plans and ensure successful execution against functional strategies for a business or product requiring coordination and integration across teams/business units
  • Construct and ensure successful execution marketing plan that spans product, brand, acquisition, customer, and retention to improve performance, brand preference, and client engagement
  • Utilize specialty knowledge to review, analyze, and develop beyond existing solutions
  • Contribute to day-to-day product marketing for core products including program delivery, client experience, and client communications strategy
  • Implement client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Collect client and competitor market research, develop a product innovation roadmap, and assist Marketing Product Managers in overseeing all aspects of program life cycle management
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup

Eligibility

5-8 years of relevant experience
Working knowledge of the business
Ability to work with internal/external partners to deliver consumer facing solutions
Ability to apply client mindset to shape solutions
Ability to collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams as well as influence
Demonstrated product/program management and marketing
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Business acumen with the ability to review alternate courses of action and comprehend trade-off decisions

Education

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
