However, the global pandemic is not yet over. The Institute advises staff and students to continue to <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.hse.ie\/conditions\/covid19\/preventing-the-spread\/protect-yourself-and-others\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">observe best practices<\/a> in protecting themselves from COVID-19, and in limiting the possibility of spreading infection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li> Do not attend on campus if you have any <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.hse.ie\/conditions\/covid19\/symptoms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">symptoms<\/a>, follow HSE advice.<\/li><li> Also follow HSE advice if you are in <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.hse.ie\/conditions\/covid19\/contact-tracing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">close contact<\/a> with a confirmed case.<\/li><li> Make <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.hse.ie\/conditions\/covid19\/testing\/using-antigen-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">good use<\/a> of Antigen tests (note again, if you are symptomatic, you should not attend on-campus)<\/li><li> The best defence against COVID-19 is vaccination.<\/li><li> Wash your hands properly and regularly<\/li><li>Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when you cough and sneeze<\/li>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> HSE advice is that wearing face masks in crowded areas or public indoor spaces helps protect against the spread of
