Certification Assessment Workshop

The Certification Workshop for IPMA assessors was conducted in Dublin on November 15 and took place prior to the annual "Graduate of the Year Awards" which are sponsored by Waterford Wedgwood.

The objectives of the meeting were to allow IPMA certification assessors from Ireland to exchange their assessment experiences with the former chair of the Certification Validation Management Board, Gilles Caupin and to assure that the quality of the certification process here continues at best-practice standard. The major topics addressed were:

• Project Management report assessment: scoring, preparing questions for the interview
• Project Management complexity: complexity criteria, scoring
• Interviews with candidates: questions, control, results, assessors' general attitude
