Role Overview
The Portfolio Manager for Cards at Wio Bank drives end-to-end growth across acquisition, activation, spend, and balance expansion for both Retail and SME card propositions.
Working closely with the Head of Cards, this role shapes Wio’s next-generation card ecosystem—launching digital-first propositions, co-branded cards and multi-currency loyalty experiences. The role is central to scaling our card portfolio through data-led decision making, ecosystem partnerships, and seamless digital journeys.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Drive card acquisition, activation, spend per active, and revolving balances.
- Support in the launching of co-branded cards, Jaywan card, and multi-currency loyalty propositions.
- Build acquisition partnerships with platforms, aggregators, and segment heads.
- Collaborate with Visa & Mastercard on funding, insights, and product development.
- Partner with Credit to optimize approval rates and risk frameworks.
- Collaborate with POs, Tech, and Ops to ensure seamless fulfilment and servicing.
- Ensure full compliance with Central Bank regulations and scheme requirements.
What Are We Looking For
- 8–15 years in cards, payments, digital banking, or fintech with strong portfolio growth or product ownership experience.
- Deep understanding of card economics, loyalty programs, scheme operations, risk, and digital acquisition funnels.
- Proven experience scaling portfolios and launching digital or co-branded card propositions.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration—comfortable working with Product, Tech, Design, Credit, Data, and Ops teams in an agile environment.
- Analytical and data-driven with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.

- Growth in digital acquisition, approval rates, and funded accounts.
- Higher spend per active, engagement, and share-of-wallet.
- Increase in revolving balances, yield, and profitability.
- Successful launch and adoption of co-brands, Jaywan, and loyalty propositions.
