Knowledge of the Private Client industry, strong client relationships, wealth management background, and local/offshore trading knowledge are essential for success in this role.
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in the investment management industry, knowledge and experience in the management of equities, multi-asset class portfolios, portfolio construction, and understanding trade-offs in risk and return. Post graduate degree (B.Sc., B.Com. or B.Bus.Sc.), relevant Regulatory exam qualification RE 5 applicable to CAT II, JSE Trading exam qualification, and understanding and knowledge of the FAIS Act. Studying towards a relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous (CFA, FRM).
