Portfolio Manager

About the Opportunity

As an Investment Manager focusing on Taiwan Equity portfolios, you will be responsible for implementing Absolute return strategy and Relative return strategy with a concentration on Alpha generation.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed investment performance objectives for fund/mandate portfolios
• Manage portfolios in accordance with the stated investment process, client requirements, and risk profile
• Provide market outlook and portfolio updates to clients in Taiwan
• Offer investment research and ideas to various equity sectors
• Collaborate with the institutional sales team to expand business opportunities
• Ensure compliance with internal regulations and industry laws
• Maintain internal stock pool coverage and ESG status reports

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business
• CFA or advanced degree is a plus
• 15+ years of relevant experience in Taiwan Equity research/portfolio management
• Strong track record in Taiwan equity fund/mandate management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
• Senior Securities Broker Certificate or Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Broker
