Overview Of The Department/Section

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (“MUFG”) is a global network with over 150,000 employees, offering services including commercial banking, trust banking, securities, credit cards, consumer finance, asset management, and leasing.

Main Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be part of Credit Portfolio Management for EMEA (ECPMO), actively working with business partners to analyze new opportunities and execute risk management solutions using various tools. The primary responsibility is to support lending and asset origination decisions that make best use of the bank’s balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on economics of transactions and client relationships
  • Monitor financial markets and economic developments
  • Devising exposure management strategies
  • Perform risk-return analysis at the business line or portfolio level

Skills And Experience

Work Experience

Essential:

  • Understanding of corporate lending
  • Understanding of credit pricing and risk mitigation products

Preferred:

  • Understanding of relationship banking and ancillary banking products

Skills

Functional / Technical Competencies:

Essential:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient user of MS Office applications

Preferred:

  • Experience with Bloomberg and other market information systems

Education / Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Degree educated in Business, Economics, or relevant subject

Preferred:

  • Industry qualification in credit analysis or risk management

  • Proactive, self-motivated, results-driven
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
