Responsibilities

• Interpretation (90%): On-line interpretation (Consecutive, Simultaneous) using Microsoft TEAMS between Japan and US Headquarters, SG site, Mexico site, etc. Interpretation in face-to-face meetings at Suminoe and OBP upon visit from other locations, meeting with vendors, etc. Occasionally, meetings are held outside of regular business hours (from 8:00 a.m. or until about 6:00 p.m.)
• Document and email translation (10%): Translation of presentation materials, meeting materials and emails. Checking English documents.

Required Experience And Skills

• 3+ years of experience as an interpreter (experience in simultaneous interpreting preferred)
• Received interpreter training in training schools or universities
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate
• Flexible and capable of handling a wide range of tasks

Benefits

• Working hours and days: 8:30 to 17:15 *Flex-System
• Mon-Fri (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are days off; company calendar available)

Working Hours: 8:30–17:00 (Scheduled working hours: 7 hours 45 minutes / Break time: 45 minutes)
